The Blackheath Rhododendron Festival has been running every year without a break since the 
year 1952. It is believed to be the longest, continuously run festival in Australia.
Blackheath Rhododendron Festival committee aims to promote civic pride and raise funds for community projects.
In the past the Rhododendron Princess was the main source of fundraising. I want to bring back this tradition and I am organising a fundraising event, a High Tea at Glenella Guesthouse. I would like to thank Glenella Guesthouse for providing their venue to a worthy cause.
