Upper Blue Mountains train timetable survey – Have your say!

BANC Uncategorized 11 Comments

The survey is now on line http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8PCFVJB or you can download it below.

Do you have concerns about the train timetable? Would you like to have your say? Then participate in our survey.

The NSW Government has announced they will be overhauling the Train Timetable. Planning the new timetable has started and it’s expected the new timetable will be introduced in late 2013.

Currently there is a more than 2 hour gap between trains west of Katoomba during weekdays. We want to make sure you have your say for a better train timetable for the Upper Blue Mountains. The following information from this survey will be used to lobby the state government.

Please click on the link here to download the survey if interested and then you can return it to the front desk of our office. Also feel free to pass the survey onto others.

This survey is being conducted by the Blackheath Area Neighbourhood Centre (BANC) and the Getting Around in Community (GAIC) sustainable transport project as part of a local campaign for better train services west of Katoomba. For inquiries call BANC on 4787 7770

Many thanks to our wonderful staff and volunteers who contribute so much to BANC. We had a great time at our Christmas Party with sublime food at the Victory Cafe made by Terry Tan and his team.
