Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) Nepean Blue Mountains has initiated The Right Door 1800 number as a single entry point into Nepean and Blue Mountains homelessness and support services. You or your client can self-select a service from the options or you can speak to an intake worker who will help match you/your client to the best service. This service accepts calls during normal operating hours.

Link2home – 1800 152 152

Link2home is a single State-wide information and referral service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Link2home provides information about local services, assesses people’s needs and refers people to appropriate services. It is best used after hours for emergency assistance and for referrals out of the District.

Blue Mountains Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service (BMTAAS) is a free, confidential service that assists tenants in the Blue Mountains. It is provided by the Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre.

Advice, information advocacy and community education activities.
Area covered: Blue Mountains (Lapstone to Mt Tomah).
Tenant Advocates: Ms Jo Hibbert and Ben Connor
Available Mondays, Wednesdays and alternate Thursdays.

Wimlah is a Blue Mountains specialist domestic violence service that welcomes any woman, with or without children, regardless of her ethnicity, age, sexuality or gender who identifies she is currently escaping or has ever been at risk due to domestic and family violence.

Wimlah provides many services in the community including: crisis and outreach support, short-term refuge accommodation, medium term supported housing options; groups for women and children, a mentoring program for school aged children, advice, referrals, safety planning and advocacy, community education and a drop-in space at Springwood and Katoomba.
