Exciting news! BANC has obtained funding (from Wentworth Healthcare, provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network, as part of the Australian Government’s response to the 2019/20 bushfires) for a Creative, Community, Wellbeing and Resilience Hub. Activities are on until mid-2023 in Blackheath and surrounds. Current Hub events are listed below. Note that current health regulations will apply to all.

Mental health first aid

Mental Health First Aid refresher workshop

Cost $50 (includes MHFA manual)

refresher for people who have already completed

Go with the Flow art therapy group

Inner Voice Writers’ workshop – Young people 18-25

Acclaimed writer and poet James Gering presents two four-part writing workshops for young people 16-25. Tap your inner voice, express yourself boldly, and move towards publication. Your genre, your choice – lyrics, poetry, fiction, non-fiction – every form of writing is included.
This free workshop has four 2-hour sessions.
