Dear music-loving friends,
An uplifting way to renew your spirits after Black Saturday!
Members of The Heathens Choir are beyond excited to announce our forthcoming concert with the great Judy Small, making her first visit to Blackheath. Recently retired from judicial work, Judy is making a modest return to her highly successful career as a folk singer of songs with feminist, social and environmental themes.
Judy says of herself:
“For almost 16 years I travelled the world as a full-time old-fashioned stand-up-with-a-guitar-and-sing-songs-of-social-significance folksinger/songwriter. My songs are sung all over the English-speaking world in folk clubs, concert halls, festivals, around campfires and on street corners.”
The Heathens Choir will do a 20-minute bracket and join our guest artist for one of her most enduring songs. The rest of the afternoon is Judy’s. The concert is a fundraiser for Blue Mountains Refugee Support Group.
Hope you can join us! Please help us spread the word
