Megalong Makers Market will be held for the first time on Easter Saturday, 3rd April, 10am – 4pm in the Megalong Community Hall. It celebrates the creativity and resilience within the Megalong Valley community, following the effects of fires, floods and Covid. It’s also an opportunity to showcase local talent, resources and services in the Valley. This event is funded through the Australia Government’s PHN community wellbeing grants.
The local RFS will be there to provide education about the Brigade and how to prepare for bushfires. Megalong Valley primary school will also be there, showcasing the school.
The market includes:
food put on by the pony club
honeycomb, raw and creamed honey
agricultural fencing equipment
soap and candles
art, sculptures, macramé, and jewellery
woodwork and more………. (all stallholders are locals)
