We are always on the lookout for great volunteers and as a responsible organisation we strive to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of those we serve in our community. That’s why we ask all prospective volunteers to provide the following:
- Working with Children Check (only for volunteers working in our Reading Buddies program and this check is free for volunteers)- https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-for-a-working-with-children-check
- National Police Check (Not required for HUFF, or volunteer cooks and BANC will reimburse you for this)- https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-national-police-check
- Current NSW Drivers License or ID Card
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance (only for volunteers who will be driving clients around in their own vehicle for Blackheath Cares).
