We are always on the lookout for great volunteers and as a responsible organisation we strive to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of those we serve in our community. That’s why we ask all prospective volunteers to provide the following:
- Working with Children Check – https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-for-a-working-with-children-check
- National Police Check – https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-national-police-check
- NDIS Worker Check (for anyone who will be working with our NDIS clients) – https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/ndiswc-apply
- Current NSW Drivers License or ID Card
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance (for anyone who will be driving clients around in their own vehicle)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (to be provided annually)
- Influenza Vaccination Certificate (to be provided annually)
- First Aid Certificate (if attained)
- Public Liability Insurance Certificate (for anyone facilitating any programs with us)
We expect all volunteers to embody the values of our organisation, with a sound knowledge of the relevant policies and procedures. These can be dowloaded and read here (feel free to attend our office or neighbourhood centre if you would like printed copies):

If you are able to meet the requirements set out above, and would like to join BANC as a volunteer, please fill out and return the following documents, along with the evidence of the above checks, certificates and licenses:
