COVID-19 JUNE LOCKDOWN 2021 INFORMATION
Dear community,
Please know that we are still committed to being here for you all as much as we can be during this stressful time. The phone lines are still open during normal business hours, so please don’t hesitate to call if you need to. In accordance with public health advice designed to help restrict the spread of COVID-19, BANC services will run as follows:
Neighbourhood Centre
41 Gardiner Crescent is closed to all visitors but the phone-lines will still be open.
Phone 4787 7770 between 9:30am – 12:30pm Monday to Friday and 1:30pm – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday for all enquiries/referrals/advice.
- Emergency relief interviews for No Interest Loans (NILS), EAPA bill vouchers, and food vouchers will still be available and will be provided via phone, email and video-link during business hours
- Use of photocopier/computers is suspended.
- All Hall bookings that are booked during the lock-down period are cancelled.
- All groups/events/classes/courses that are scheduled for the lock-down period are cancelled.
BANC Access
110 Wentworth Street is closed to all visitors, but the phone-lines will be open during normal business hours.
Phone 4787 5684 between 8:30am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 4pm Monday to Friday for all enquiries.
- Plan Management services will be provided via phone, email and video-link.
- Support Coordination services will be provided via phone, email and video-link.
- Coordination of Supports will be provided via phone, email and video-link.
- One-to-one supports will continue to provide access to essential services.
- All groups are suspended.
BOOSH (Blackheath Out of Hours Service)
BOOSH will remain open for Vacation Care from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
- In line with the public health advice BOOSH will not offer excursions and visitors will not be allowed.
- Parents/carers to wear a mask, use sanitiser and follow the Public Health Orders when dropping off or picking up children. There is to be only one parent/carer in BOOSH at any time. Parents/carers are asked to wait on the verandah, observing social distancing.
